Welcome to Home at Last online, Kate Shea

If you’re planning to sell, then you’ll want to know the latest technique in how to best promote your home for sale. Research shows that a potential buyer has formed an opinion on your home within the first 20 seconds of entering the front door. First impressions are important, especially when it’s time to sell. In fact, the way you live in your home and the way to sell your home are two different things.

Studies have shown that "staging" your home will greatly influence the interest it generates with buyers and Realtors, leading to a higher sale price with less time on the market. When your home is prepared for sale with care and intention, prospective buyers will feel the difference, making it easier for them to visualize living there.

Our objective is to accentuate the features of the home by depersonalizing and neutralizing the space to broaden its appeal. We’ll highlight the focal points of each room and improve traffic flow, making the home feel welcoming, inviting, airy and open because the longer you can keep a potential buyer in your home during a showing, the more likely you are to have positive results. They will feel as if they are touring their new home, instead of visiting yours. It’s time to set aside your personal style and decorating taste, and let Home At Last help you to obtain maximum market value on this important commodity.

Real Estate Consultations

With an objective eye, Home At Last will provide you with feedback and a checklist of recommendations on how to build on your home’s value and appeal to prospective buyers. Home sellers find this service ideal when they have the time, the resources and the support to follow through with the recommended tasks and prioritized plan. You may even find your Realtor discussing this process at the listing presentation, as they know how to best market your home.

ReDesign for Staging

Buyers need to make a positive emotional connection to a house. Surprisingly enough, many buyers are unable to look past minor cosmetic issues when viewing. If they walk through a house and don’t like the furniture or the decorating style, they probably won’t like the house either.

Let Home At Last help potential buyers connect to your home, and help you make more money when you sell. After completing a Consultation, invite us back to stylize your furniture, artwork and accessories. We’ll create a look that will help get your house SOLD!

Well, we had a party on Saturday night to say farewell to all of our friends. The new owners of the house were there as well, and I just thought that I should pass along some of the things they had to say. They were so pleased with how you had arranged the home and said that they had looked at 18 or so, and ours definitely stood out because it was so nicely done. It was very spacious, inviting, and clean compared to others in the area and they were pretty sure that the house would have sold quickly if they hadn't bought it.
